A Nice nights sleep. |
Well What do you know, It is another very Sunny day again today, although there is a slight chill in the air and it is not as mild as yesterday it is still a very pleasant day. I had a good nights sleep last night I went to
bed earlier last night, after spending a nice evening round with Gervase and Leanne and although I woke at 4.00 am for the bathroom I then slept through until 7.45 so am pleased with that and have not felt the fatigue that I have normally felt so who knows perhaps the reductions in the Medications are starting to have the desired effect, or not as the case may be. or perhaps I am just getting used to feeling Tired.

Start the day with Coffee |
Once I had woken, I go into the kitchen and
make a coffee and then into the lounge to watch the Breakfast news on TV and also to check my emails and facebook while waiting for the carer to arrive. The carer arrives about 9.20.it is the same carer as yesterday and she is very busy as the company are so short staffed that they have put extra clients with her and she is working from 6.30 until 9.00 tonight, so it does not take her long to get me washed and groomed and then she is on her way to the next client.
Once the carer has left, I text Pauline and she phones back to say that all is ok there and that she is just about to take
misty out for her morning walk, As I said earlier it is a nice day today although Southsea common is still very waterlogged through all the rain we have had this year so pauline needs to make sure she wears her wellington boots otherwise she will go home covered in mud..
Once I am off the phone to Pauline I get some porridge for breakfast then get dressed and walk round to Tesco Express to get a paper and then once I am back home I get the breakfast dishes washed up and make a coffee and then settle down in front of the Tv ann wait for Colin to arrive. Colin is Pauline,s Brother in Law. He is bringing his son "Stewie" down to the medical centre this morning about 10.30 for an appointment so he will drop Stewie off and then come round for a chat and a tea until he goes to pick up Stewie after his appointment. The Medical centre is only a short distance from where I live.

A lovely Cherry Yogurt after lunch |
That was a good hour chatting with Colin, and about 11.20 Stewie phones to say he is ready to go home so Colin makes his way home and I settle down with another coffee and read the papers and get the crosswords done, at 1.30 it is time to have some lunch so have a look and see what is lurking in the depths of the kitchen cupboard, I find 3 tins of mini meals, unfortunately 2 of them are past their expiry date and have to be binned, "What a waste" but there is a small tin of Sausages and baked beans which is ok so I heat that up and have that with a fried egg, followed by a nice
Cherry Yogurt and it went down a treat. once dinner is over I finish the crosswords in the paper and then go for a lie down for 30 minutes before starting todays journal.
Well that was a very nice relaxing day after a busy day yesterday shopping and tomorrow I have my
Dental appointment and I have to have an Extraction so not looking forward to that, as I really do not like going to the dentist, still it has to be done so best to get it over with and I a glad Pauline is coming with me so that will keep me feeling positive. Anyway that is about it fpr todays short journal so I will get the journal posted as it is now 5.40 and soon be time to get dinner started. it is Chicken tonight with Potato, Sprouts and Cauliflower, so looking forward to that As I doubt I will feel much like eating tomorrow after the dentist, so until tomorrow I will say Adios.
LOVED the cartoon character for your dentist !! Praying it goes well and you can bite your teeth into something scrumptious for dinner !!
ReplyDeleteNot looking forward to the dentist one little bit, the medication has not helped my teeth at all and they do need ongoing work over the next couple of months , but it will be worth it. Glad you liked the cartoon. Frank.
