A Busy Shopping Thursday.

In the Lounge waiting for Carol.
Oh Dear, Oh My, Oh Heck, Today I am all behind with the blog today, it is now 4.45 and I am just starting to write it, so I am afraid it is going to be short and sweet today, I will say though that today has been a really good day and I was out shopping with Pauline for over 4 hours, the longest I have been out shopping for a couple of years now, Basically since I was Diagnosed with DM in May 2011. anyway a Decent night last night thank goodness and was up and in the lounge by 8.15 ready for when Carol my Carer arrived at 8.45.

Diprobase Cream for Skin
Carol has a busy day today anyway she has a chat and then gets me washed and groomed ready for the day ahead , she puts the diprobase cream on my legs and feet and I have very cold toes again today due to the cold weather and the Raynaud's so must remember that I need two pairs of socks on when we go out shopping later this morning. However once Carol has finished and on her way I text Pauline and then get some Porridge for Breakfast with a Banana and it goes down very nicely, as I finish breakfast Pauline phones to say that she will be booking a taxi for 10.45 to come and collect me to go down to the city centre for the shopping, I have a few things that I need to do down town so am looking forward to that,

Anyway I have a little bit of time to just check out emails and facebook before going to get a shave and then get dressed before Pauline arrives, So I make a coffee and then get the laptop out and fired up, once I have checked it all out it is 10.15 so now to get ready otherwise I will be in trouble with Pauline and Believe me it is a brave man who upsets Pauline LOL. Anyway I have just got ready and got the wheelchair out of the Cupboard when Pauline texts to say she is on the way and at 10.55 Pauline arrives with the Taxi. and she has brought me half a dozen fresh free range eggs. which I need to put in the fridge before we make our way down town.

Pauline Arrives with my Eggs in the Taxi
Anyway once Pauline arrives in the Citywide Taxi I take the eggs indoors and then we are off down town The first stop will be the Nationwide Building society to check a payment has been received, and then we make our way down to the ban at the other end of the precinct, we have a coffee and then go into Wilkinsons to get a few bits and pieces.
Wilkinsons Store Arundel street Precinct.
Once we have got what we want there we go out the other end of the store and make our way to boots the chemist to get a couple of items, such as my "Stay dry Pants" they are certainly an embarrassment saver.  anyway I get what I need in Boots and then we make our way back out into the precinct as we need now to go to argos as Pauline wants a shower hose for her bathroom.
Hello Pauline, where is Frankie ?
I have had a decent walk today pushing the wheelchair, Pauline waits in the precinct while I go into Boots to get the bits I want and then once Out I get into the wheelchair as my leg muscles are starting to feel it now, but am pleased as I have been walking for almost an hour so that is good for me.

Here is Frankie coming out of Boots the chemist.
Anyway we now make our way down the precinct to Argos, walking through the market stalls as it is Market day here on a Thursday,Friday and Saturday, some good bargains to be had and also some tat.
Looking down the precinct from outside boots the chemist
Once we have been in the Argos store we then make our way to Morrisons in the Victory retail park to get the main grocery shopping, it is a bit of a walk through the northern quarter of the city there is a lot of empty land here waiting for the development of the northern quarter to start over the next year or So.!!! we go via Sainsburys and could not resist taking a photo of Pauline standing by a sign in Sainsburys Foyer.
I always Re-use my Bag,s.
Just to assure all my readers Pauline was in full agreement for me to use this Picture, we both thought it was funny, Pauline is the best friend anyone could wish for and she really is an Angel. anyway we make our way from here over to Morrisons.
On the way to Morrisons from Sainsburys

Graffiti art to brighton up the Boarding
And Into Morrisons Car park
Once we get to Morrisons we decide that as it is now 1.00 we would have lunch before we do the shopping so we go into the Cafe at Morrisons and we both have a latte, Pauline has a tuna and sweet corn Sandwich with salad and Crisps, and I have double egg and chips.

Now How tasty is that, at least I can now eat chips so progress is continuing.
I think Pauline was hungry
I think I was hungry as well.
Thank you Pauline.
Anyway once we had finished lunch we went and did the shopping and then once we had  got everything we [aid for it and then went out to phone for a taxi to take us home, Gordon is on his way back from Salisbury so he will pick pauline up from my place on the way home. anyway as the taxi pulls up outside my place so Gordon arrives , I can not believe how long we have been out today, it is now nearly 3.30 and we left home this morning at about 11.00  so just over 4 hours out today and I really enjoyed it. anyway once indoors we get the shopping put away and then  Pauline gather up my dirty laundry to take with her and then Pauline and Gordon make their way home and I make a coffee and start to get this Journal written as it is now 4.45.

Well that is about it for today I am now feeling very tired so a relaxing evening tonight so Until tomorrow and the dreaded Methotrexate I will say Bye Bye.

A Nothing to do Wednesday.

I often sit and wonder why,
And then I look up to the sky
And see the seagulls flying by,
Then one of them poops in my eye

That is how I felt last night, why ? well It was a most peculiar Night really, I went to bed as normal about 10.15 - 10.30, it had been a really good day and I was feeling good. anyway I was listening to the Radio Solent, and must have dropped of to sleep about 11.15, anyway I must have been having a dream about being down southsea sea front watching the seagulls flying around when one of them swooped down and pooped in my Eye, I woke up with a start and it was 3.45, and I had a splitting headache.
A Bad start to the day
What a stupid time to wake up, and could I get back to sleep "NO I could not" anyway went and got a glass of water and took a couple of Paracetamol, went back to bed and carried on listening to the radio as it was still on anyway, to cut a long story short I remember the 7.00 O'Clock news bulletin and the next thing I know it was 8.30. so must have dropped of to sleep just after 7.00, so now it is a mad rush as I need to be up and ready for Carol my carer who will be arriving sometime between 8.45 and 9.15, so make a quick coffee and into the lounge and put on the TV to watch the BBC1 Breakfast News.

Thankfully, Carole arrives at 9.05 which is handy as it has given me time to, have a coffee, at least the headache has disappeared now, and that was one weird dream, however Carol has a busy day ahead of her, so she gets on and gets me washed and groomed ready for the day ahead and then is on her way to her next client, I then text Pauline and then go and get some chocolate stars and a Banana for breakfast. Pauline phones back and she is out on the common with Misty for the morning walk, It is very windy out there today with a cold breeze blowing in off the sea, anyway Pauline said that although the Sun is shinning it is very cold so to wrap up warm when I go out to get my paper.

Off to get my Morning paper.
Once Pauline is off the phone I get dressed and then as it is still sunny outside I take a walk around to the Tesco Express to get my Daily Paper, I have noticed that today I have no aching or painful muscles after my walk to the Bridge Centre yesterday with Pauline., so that is a first normally when I walk for over 15 minutes I suffer the next day but it must have been a good 30 minutes walking yesterday before I had to get into the wheelchair, I find it so much easier walking pushing the wheelchair than walking with a cane and can walk further and for longer so perhaps I should start to think about a Rollator or triwalker.

Todays Lunch
Once back indoors I make a nice hot milky coffee and then settle down in the recliner with the paper and see what is going on in the world, the news is full of the contaminated  meat being used in Burgers, and other processed meals and also the failing of our NHS system in treating and caring for the elderly and Vulnerable people in Hospitals and also the lack of care in care homes and Home Care. The Government has a lot to answer for. anyway I then get the crosswords done and at 1.00 I get myself a nice lunch of Beans on Toast with a couple of rashers of Bacon. All gluten free of course.

Washing the Dishes
Once I had finished Lunch I watched an episode of Only fools and Horses on the TV, Pauline phoned to see that I was Ok and keeping warm so we had a chat and then gervase sent a text to say that  his day working in Bristol went OK and that he would be catching the train home after he had done a tele-conference, then  I went to get the Lunch and Breakfast items washed up before going for a lie down for 30 minutes. That thirty minutes turned in to forty five minutes and then I made a coffee and into the lounge to get todays journal written.

Ok so now the time is getting on, it is 5.00 and I have a busy day ahead tomorrow so I have had a decent rest today so hopefully the walking tomorrow will go as good as yesterday anyway I am now going to get this Journal posted and then settle down to a relaxing evening with the TV and a nice Gluten Free Chicken curry for Dinner. so until tomorrow I will say Cheerio.

A Shopping Tuesday

To the Bathroom
So ................ How did today go, well all in all it went pretty well. I had a better nights sleep last night, but I normally do on a Monday, I think that i probably due to the Folic Acid that I take on a Monday after the Methotrexate on a Friday, Or Maybe not.Who can tell anyway slept through from about 11.30 until 6.30 getting up once to visit the bathroom during the night, Once I was awake I made a coffee and went back to bed to listen to the radio until 8.00 when I made another coffee and went into the lounge to wait for Carol my Carer to arrive.

While I am waiting for Carol I check out facebook and my emails and Carol arrives at 8.45, She has had a good weekend and has a very busy day today as there are a lot of staff on holiday or off sick, and the company are struggling to cover all their clients, anyway it does not take long for Carol to get me sorted for the day ahead and then she is on her way and I text pauline.

After I have sent a text to Pauline I go and get some Porridge for Breakfast, as I am doing that Pauline phones to say she will be booking a Taxi for 10.30 to collect me and we will then go to my doctors appointment at Eastney Health Centre, my appointment is for 10.45, once there we get our number from the receptionist and we are next in to see the GP. we only have to wait about 10 minutes and then we are in  to see Dr Tyrell.

Well it was a good 20 minutes in with the Doctor, I asked and got good answers to a few questions I needed to ask him, and then told him about going gluten free and how it had made a big difference to my Digestion, any way He has agreed to change my Lansoprazole from 1 x 30 mg  once a day in the evening to 1 x 15 mg twice a day, once morning and once evening, also he is in agreement to me adding a 5 mg Prednisolone to the day I do not take any (I have been on 15 mg prednisolone on alternate days and the days I do not take any I have very little energy) so I am back onto 5 mg one day and 15 mg the next and that makes a big difference to me.

Blood Pressure is OK
Doctor Tyrell also checks my Blood pressure and we review my last blood test results, they are all satisfactory for me, my sodium level was down 1 point but that was no concern so he is satisfied that I am maintaining my health, I see my Neurologist at the beginning of March, so I now go and book my appointment for a blood test on the 26th February so that we will have them for my Neurologist appointment. so then I phone for a taxi to take us back home and then we can go shopping.

Once back home the taxi drops us off and we go indoors to get the wheel chair, We have decided to go to Asda at Fratton today so we have decided that I will walk part way pushing the wheel chair and then when my muscles have had enough I will get in the wheelchair and Pauline will push me. It is a nice dry and sunny day today although very cold. so we wrap up warm with hat,s , Gloves and scarves. Gordon has phoned Pauline and he will be up to my flat to do the cleaning for me after he has finished the gloss painting in their Bathroom so we will meet him back there when we have finished the shopping. It was a nice walk along to Fratton road and I almost make it to the bridge centre pushing the wheelchair but just don't quite make it about 100 meter,s short still next time perhaps as I do not want to overdo it today.

Bridge Centre, Fratton Road, Portsmouth.
Anyway once we get to the bridge centre we have a look in a couple of Charity shops and then we have a coffee in the bridge centre Cafe before going into Asda to get the shopping, we have not got to get much today so have a mooch around getting the bits and pieces that Pauline needs and also what I need. we will do a bigger shop on Thursday down at Morrisons.

Rebecca,s Pantry Cafe and Tea room, Bridge Centre, Fratton.
Once we have got the shopping I phone for a taxi and we head back home, it is now 2.00 and Gordon is there, he has finished the cleaning so I make coffee,s and we get the shopping put away, we have a coffee and a chat and then about 2.30 Gordon and Pauline make there way home and I do a couple of slices of Toast and have that with some Gluten Free Pate that I got in Asda today and it was superb. very Tasty. it is a Shiitake Mushroom Pate ( Don't let the name put you off)
An Excellent Gluten Free Pate.
Well that is about it for today folks, A pretty good day all round, a good chat with my Family Doctor (GP) and a decent walk with the wheelchair and a nice pate for lunch and a good chat with Pauline and Gordon, The only downside was shopping in Asda it really does bring out the worst in me with all the rude and obnoxious people shopping in there still Morrisons on Thursday so I am now going to get this jpurnal posted so untill tomorrow Bye Bye.

Its Monday Again Folks YaHooo

Getting to know me episode 3

Carrying on from episode 2 which was on the journal for the 27th January. As I said then, after I was born I lived with Mum and her Parents, and sister in Western road Fareham until dad came home after the war in 1946 when we moved into a nissan hut that was in the grounds of a large house at the end of Redlands lane in Fareham. A Nissan hut was a large shack constructed of Corrugated iron sheets. It had no rooms inside but mum hung curtains up to make rooms and there was only one wood burning stove in the centre of the hut.
Examples of WWII Nissan Huts
The Nissan hut we lived in was similar to the ones in the Photograph above, The one we lived in was put up to accommodate the Military personal who were billeted in fareham prior to the D-Day Invasion. in 1944 and were used as military accommodation until the end of the war when they were used to accommodate naval families waiting to be rehoused in a new estate of 50 council houses being built in Fareham, these were completed in 1949 when we moved in. My Brother Patrick was Born in January 1947 at a nursing home in Gosport while we were there and in 1948 we moved into a rented flat in Blackbrook road Fareham until moving into Hammond road in 1949.
Hammond Road as it is today it has hardly changed at al
Back to the Present day

Hello again folks and welcome to another Happy Monday. well although It was late getting off to sleep last night, I had a reasonable night,s sleep. The reason I did not get off to sleep until midnight last night was that I was listening to the local radio station "Solent" and it was playing music and songs by Gershwin and Cole Porter with a 6 song spot by "Noel Coward" it was an excellent program and I really enjoyed it. anyway I slept through until about 6.45 so am pleased about that, so made a coffee and lazed in bed until about 8.30 when I got up and into the lounge.

Come on Gordon,
Once in the lounge I check out my emails and facebook and then watch the end of the Breakfast news on BBC1 before Texting Pauline and getting some toast and Marmalade for Breakfast. It is going to be a lazy day today as Gordon won't be round to do the 2 hours cleaning today as he and Pauline are decorating their bathroom today. at 10.00 Pauline phones to say that they are just going to start painting and that all is ok so I settle down to watch a little bit of daytime TV.

Same old boring News.
At 11.00 I decide that I will take a walk round to the local Newsagent,s to get the Daily paper. It is a nice day out today the sun is shining and there is a few fluffy white clouds in the sky but there is a very cold and strong wind blowing today, also there is a lot of seagulls flying around here today and that is usually a sign that we are in for some stormy weather later on this afternoon or evening. anyway once I have the paper I make my way back home and settle down with a coffee to read the paper.

The morning has passed by quite quickly, and at 12.30 I decide to have a cat nap for 30 minutes before getting some lunch at 1.00. I decide to have a couple of boiled eggs and a couple of crispbread so while I am waiting for the eggs to boil I take the recycling items out to the communal recycling bins, once the eggs are cooked I have lunch and then wash up before watching a couple of old episodes of "Only Fools and Horses" on the gold channel.
Only Fools and Horses
At the Doctors Tomorrow.
Once I have watched those I get the vegetable prepared for tonight,s dinner  and then settle down to get todays Journal written. Tomorrow should be an interesting day As I am seeing my GP in the morning as I want to bring him up to speed with my "Gluten Free trial" and also to see if he will reduce the dosage of my Lansoprazole from 30 mg every evening to 15 mg Morning and 15 mg in the evening, I also want to see if he can check my blood pressure and also sugar levels as I have not had these checked for a few months now, and I also have to book my next appointment for my blood tests for 4 weeks time so that they are ready when I see my Neurologist in March.

well I am just about to finish todays Journal, Gervase has just phoned to see how I am, He is on his way home from Haywards heath where he works, and he was saying he is out of the office for the next two days, Tomorrow he is up in Abbingdon in Oxfordshire and on Wednesday he is up in Bristol. so he has a busy couple of days away from home, he is driving to Abbingdon tomorrow so he can come home tomorrow evening, and he will go to Bristol by Train on Wednesday. Gervase likes Bristol as he worked up there for two years and also My late wife came from Bristol. So I am about to post this journal so until tomorrow I will say Cheerio.

Early morning wake up "Doh"

Well as the title says, awake early again today, just could not sleep last night, went to bed about 10.30, asleep by eleven but awake by 4.30 ish. Think I must have dropped of again  about 7.00 but awake again by 8.00 so made a coffee and stayed in bed listening to the radio until getting up about 9.15. One song I did here today on the Radio, made me think I should use that as my theme song with this Dermatomyositis. it was "Monty Pythons" "Always look on the bright side of life".

Always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the bright side of life

Some things in life are bad, they can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you're chewing on life's gristle, don't grumble give a whistle
This will help things turn out for the best

Always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the right side of life

If life seems jolly rotten, there's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing
When you're feeling in the dumps, don't be silly, chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle, that's the thing

Although I do not think that the second verse would be applicable in my case and also the very first change to me that started all this off was that I lost the ability to whistle.

Yep, Definitely a Fault
Anyway once I was in the lounge with my coffee I text Pauline and she phones back to say that she is out on the common with Misty for her morning walk and Gordon is at home preparing to start getting the bathroom ready to decorate. after Pauline has finished I get some Porridge for Breakfast, and then Gervase phones to see how I am and to say that It may not be possible to go shopping today as they had a problem with an Electrical Socket blowing the trip fuse last night, and they have no electric on the 1st and 2nd  Floors, although they have power on the 3rd and 4th floor and there heating is working as it is on a separate circuit. But no power in the kitchen on the second floor although they do have lights as that is a separate  circuit also and they have a gas cooker so they can cook. And the electrician is coming today between 12.00 and 3.00

Reading the Newspaper
So Once I have spoken to Gervase and finished Breakfast I get dressed and take a slow walk round to get the morning paper and also some Banana,s and Milk, then head back home to make a nice hot coffee and to settle down to read the paper and get the crosswords done, it is very cold outside but at least it is dry so will not be going far today

Thank you Mr Electrician
Once I had read the Newspaper I went for a lie down for an hour, after that I make a coffee and go back into the lounge to work on my new website "The Myositis Hub" still got a little more work to get the format right, I had lots of ideas from my Myositis friends from around the world so that has helped, Gervase phones about 2.00 to say that the Electrician has been and it is a fault in the socket, however he cannot replace it today as he has to order one as it is a 3 socket plate so he will phone Gervase tomorrow with a quote, and to arrange a time to fit the new one, however he has made the wiring safe so that is OK.

Toasted Crumpets and Butter
That is good news so no major problem so Once Gervase is off the phone I go and toast a couple of Crumpets to have with a coffee for a light lunch and then get the vegetable prepared for tonight,s dinner. I had Gluten free Sausages and Mashed Potato for dinner last night and I really enjoyed them, they were very tasty but it was a little difficult on the swallowing so will not have them that often, but it was a nice change and when you think this time last year I had just come of off a Puree Diet it was a nice change, anyway tonight it will be Plaice fillet with Potato, Cauliflower and Broccoli with a cheese sauce.

Once lunch was over I did the washing up and then settled down to get todays Journal written, Gervase phoned to say that he will be round to see me after he has dropped Leanne off at her mums so I will get this Journal finished and Posted before he arrives, but as it is late in the afternoon 3.15 we will not be going out to the shops which suits me fine as it has got very cold out there today, so I will say Tatty bye until tomorrow.

Saturday, February 2, 2013

And another Saturday that comes along.

A Croaky throat.
There is only one problem with eating Gluten free Ginger biscuits and Gluten free Chocolate chip cookies and that is like all Gluten free biscuits they are harder and more brittle than ordinary biscuits and if you don't "Dunk" them in you tea or coffee then you end up like I have this morning with a sore/scratched throat by pigging out on biscuits last night .

How much beef how much Horse ?
Not a good nights sleep either last night was awake until about 12.30 with the raynauds playing up in my toes, anyway that seemed to go by 12.30 so managed to get off to sleep, woke at 2.30 for the bathroom and then woke up at 6.00 and that was about it, made a coffee and took to bed and stayed in bed dozing on and off until 7.45 when I decided to get up and go into the lounge with a coffee and wait for Carol the carer. I put on the TV and the news is depressing again, today they were on about more traces of Horse meat in Burgers and also other things like Pork in Beef and lamb products, it just goes to show that you just don't know what is put into processed foods so I am glad I only eat fresh produce these days.

Mr Clutch Fratton Way, Portsmouth
Anyway I am glad I do not eat burgers anymore, I used to love Burger king . Carol arrives about 9.10 and has a busy day today, so we have a chat and then she gets me washed and groomed, puts "Diprobase" cream on my feet and legs and is then on her way to her next client, Once Carol has Gone I text Pauline and then get some Gluten free porridge for breakfast. Pauline phones back and said that all is OK, Gordon has t take his car up to the garage in Fratton way for its MOT at 2.15 so Pauline said they have to go to B&Q while they are there and may pop in for a coffee afterwards.

Once Pauline is off the phone and I have finished Breakfast I go and get dressed and then check out my emails and facebook, after that I go and get the breakfast washing up done and then walk round to Tesco Express to get the morning paper. It is a nice Sunny but cold day out today so wrap up warm and take a slow walk around the block on the way home. It won't be long before the trees are back in leaf and the blossom appears.
The Traffic Lights by the Entrance to Milton Park this Morning
Once back home I make a nice coffee and then settle down to read the paper and as usual do the crosswords, listening to the radio they are playing some older music and the words of one of the songs is as true now as it was when it was written and recorded. by Ray Davies and the Kinks in 1966

♬ ♬ ♬ The tax mans taken all my dough, ♬ ♬ ♬
♬ ♬ ♬ And left me in my little home, ♬ ♬ ♬

♬ ♬ ♬ And I can't sail my yacht, ♬ ♬ ♬
♬ ♬ ♬ He's taken everything Ive got, ♬ ♬ ♬
♬ ♬ ♬ All Ive gots this sunny afternoon. ♬ ♬ ♬

Model yacht sailing on Canoe lake,
well the morning has gone by very quickly and so at 1.00 I get myself some chicken soup and a couple of Crisp bread (Gluten free of course) and enjoy that and am watching an excellent film on TV starring Pauline Collins and John Alderton called "Mrs Caldicot's Cabbage war. it is an excellent film and very funny I saw it about 4 years ago and is well worth watching it was made in 2002.
Mrs Caldicot's cabbage war 2002
well the afternoon is going quickly and I have spoken to Gervase, he has been out for a haircut today and is off out shopping for clothes this afternoon, anyway about 3.15 the phone rings and it is pauline to say they are on the way round so I need to get the kettle on ready to make the coffee. They stay for about 45 minutes and have a coffee and a chat, Gordon,s car passed the MOT Ok so they are glad about that. anyway once we have had a chat and a coffee they make there way back home.
Pauline and Gordon make their way home
Once pauline and Gordon have Gone I make another coffee get the laptop up and running and after checking Facebook I get todays blog started. it is now 5.25 so do not know where the time has gone today, the day has just flown by anyway I am going to get this Journal finished and posted now and then I will start thinking about getting dinner done today, I am going to try the Gluten free sausages tonight with some mashed potato and baked beans, should be tasty, anyway I will let you know tomorrow how I get on with them, so until tomorrow I will say Bye Bye.

And another Month Begins.

Here we are then folks and we are into the start of another month,

January was a cold wet and miserable month over here in the UK so hopefully the weather will start to improve as we go through the month of February

The number of readers of this daily journal is increasing on a monthly basis this month the number of visitors was just over 4000, as you can see from the stats for january it was increasing gradually.

it was not a bad nights sleep last night, I woke up twice to use the toilet and was  soon back to sleep both times anyway I woke up properly at 7.00 so go and make a coffee to take back to bed as I can have a little lie in this morning as Carol my carer will be about an hour later today. so I listen to the local radio for an hour and trying to get my toes working they are very cold to the touch and Painful, I do hate this Raynaud's Phenomenon. anyway I put on a pair of thick wooly socks and that helps anyway at 8.30 I drag myself out of bed and take a coffee into the Lounge and carry on listening to the radio in there.

Carol my Carer.
However I text Pauline to let her know that all is OK, and she phones back to say they have had a few holdups on the way to Salisbury today, anyway all is OK so I make a coffee and log on to facebook to see who is around, I still can't get into "Words with Friends" but no idea why, I can get into the other facebook games I play so no idea what has gone wrong with"Words With Friends" I have tried everything. however at 9.40 Carol my carer arrives, I am her last client today so she has time for a coffee and a chat, and then she gets me washed and groomed and get some diprobase cream massaged into my feet which helps with the Raynauds, at least the pain has gone just very cold toes

Got my Paper "Ooop,s"
Once carol has finished she is off home and I get myself some Porridge for Breakfast and also have a Banana, and then I make a cup of tea and afterwards get myself dressed and ready to go round to the paper shop to get my daily paper. It has stopped raining and the sun is starting to come out so off I go and get the paper, once I have that I get back home  and put out the recycling items into the recycling bins and then make a coffee and settle down to read the paper and do the crossword,s.

Tasty
Well the morning has gone by very fast so now it is time to get some lunch and take the methotrexate, but what to have for lunch is a different matter, anyway I settle for a nice Bacon Buttey using Gluten free Bread, I lightly toast the bread as it makes it easier for me to swallow, anyway I have that with a nice mug of tea and follow that up with a Alpro gluten Free Soya chocolate mousse, and that went down a treat. afterwards I take the Methotrexate and then go for a lie down for an hour.

Yummy Yummy Methotrexate
I have a lie down until 2.30 and then get into the lounge to put the finishing touches to the site plan for the "The Myositis Hub" website that I will start working on this weekend. I will also link it to its own "Facebook page", and my other website "Myositis in Focus" so once the site plan is completed I start to get todays blog written and posted, I will not be doing much tonight as I will be taking it easy while the methotrexate gets to work, I will only be having a light dinner tonight of a nice fresh Plaice Fillet with Mashed Potato so I will enjoy that and will probably just watch the soaps on the TV and see what I can find on Youtube on the smart TV.

Well I am pleased to say that it seems like sky/BT has sorted out the intermittent broadband in this are (for the time being) so that makes it easier and I am getting the service that I pay for, so as there is not much more happening here tonight, The Raynaud's has now gone from my toes and back t normal so I think a hot water bottle at the bottom of the bed tonight will be a good idea, so until tomorrow I will say Au Revoir and get this Journal Posted.
